A Review on One of the Classics!
When it comes to coffee it's ALWAYS exciting to read about new ideas, creative and artistic inventions, and to see the beauty, flavor, and aroma of these delights unfold.
There's a constant stream of both great ideas (Like Dunkin Donuts Blueberry Muffin.) and other ideas that.... may require a very niche audience to perform well.. lookin at you olive oil coffee.
But then.... there's the classics...
Those products or flavors that have been tried, tested, forged in fire, throw to the wind and come back through a blazing ride of glory.
I'm talking of course, about the classics, age old ideas, creations, and flavors that will not only be on our shelves until the human race falls and possibly even after, but that were created during a time that nearly marks the foundation of a success story.
Today that classic is a classic flavor. It's the French Vanilla. Specifically today we're talking about Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Coffee.
The main goal of this article today is a review of this great flavor, and since I love Dunkin so much we're using their French Vanilla Flavor as our target of talk.
It is my goal, my promise, and my commitment to you to reviews products I am familiar with and comfortable talking about in depth with little to no research required, as I want my length of experience to be able to shed a broad light for you on what to expect.
Now behold... The French Vanilla.
Savor the Flavor of Dunkin's French Vanilla.
The most frequent product we can find on store shelves for this timeless classic is the popular Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla ground coffee 12 oz. bag.
I personally think this is the best way to market this product in a store front because as you and our team are wise and educated coffee consumers we know coffee has a very valid shelf life especially once opened, and we may not always go to a flavored coffee during the week as much as the original flavor coffee grind.
Like all Dunkin Donuts products I always find the packaging to be colorful, appealing, and something I enjoy seeing on the shelf in my coffee cabinet.
You can also pick up that same style of pretty packaging in their Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla K Cups Coffee, or you can head on down to the local Dunkin store and grab a Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla Iced Coffee, another delicious classic.
Forget the Package, Let's Talk Aroma.
Ok so most of us probably don't care all that much about the package, but as a Dunkin fan I felt I should include it this time.
Now for one of our favorite parts, the incredible aroma when it brews.
When you decide it's time for a cup of French Vanilla the moment you crack open that coffee bag or can you're greeted with a nostalgic and exquisite scent of Dunkin Donuts Vanilla.
It smells amazing and rich. Full of an aroma that foretells of the wonders to come when we brew our cup of coffee and take our first sip.
The wonderful smell is full of a strong but pleasant vanilla, high notes of coffee beans, a pinch of caramel and a dollop of butter.
What About Flavor?
Much like the wonderful aroma of the Dunkin Donuts Vanilla Coffee it also comes at us with the same flavor notes, but you can expect the champions of flavor here to be that unmistakable French Vanilla taste with a creamy buttery follow-up.
The coffee taste itself is very smooth and goes well by itself or with other additions that we'll talk about in just a sec.
You can expect the bitterness of French Vanilla to be a little more tame than what you would get from an basic flavor, and it has a rich texture.
A true pleasure every time I have a mug full.
The Pairings Of Course Sir.
Dunkin's French Vanilla coffee has a wide variety of pairings that go well together, as this coffee sits in a very neutral zone among its peers.
You can pair this classic with any creamer for a pleasant addition, and it goes excellent with natural sugar or honey, but other sweeteners do it justice as well.
Almost any breakfast treat from donuts to breakfast tacos go well with it, and you can even pair it with more acidic varieties, just nothing too extreme.
I still wouldn't have it wit anything spicy, as most coffee doesn't do well with it for the palette.
Just about anything savory goes well with it too, but your best flavor profile comes when you match something sweet with it.
To summarize this flavor of coffee I have to give it a high grade of 9/10 because it has a massive versatility and can always be relied upon.
There's never been a time when I have had a cup and regretted it regardless of what flavor mood I've been in.
The only reason I chose not to give it 10/10 is because while it has an excellent, classic flavor it lacks the over-the-top wow factor the Dunkin's Blueberry Muffin has in its flavor profile.
With a 9/10 rating this coffee still needs a space available at all times for it on my coffee cabinet, because it is certainly one of my go-to coffee delights!
Happy sipping my fellow coffee lovers!
