A Perfect Early Winter Treat to Fall on.
When it comes down to it coffee flavors can either be enjoyed anytime throughout the near or made with a season in mind.
Now let me just say this right off the bat, I'll drink a cup of Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Spice coffee, but it is not my go to coffee flavor for the fall and early winter.
We get a pretty late fall here in Alabama which I find quite sad since it's my absolutely favorite time of the year and we also have a very short lived fall.
We get to enjoy two to three weeks of gorgeous leaves and cool breezy weather after the heat has finally faded away before colder weather blows all the leaves down and leaves us barren for a cold, wet and muddy winter.
But those three weeks of color are truly beautiful to behold in the hilly, tree covered land scape of Northern Alabama and as soon as they began to turn, so do my hands and taste buds towards my favorite fall and early winter coffee flavor; Dunkin Donuts Cinnamania Coffee.
While it doesn't have as long of a history as their powerful linebackers of French Vanilla and Hazelnut, Cinnamania does offer a unique flavor perspective for those who wish to add some fantastical flavor of a morning cinnamon role into their coffee.
I will add that some people tend to have different opinions about Dunkin's Cinnamania, (a right that we're all completely entitled to) but in this review I'm going to focus almost exclusively on the flavor and coffee itself and try not to compare it to its seasonal brother, the Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Nutmeg Christmas flavor. (Another tasty treat for another article ahead.)

Yes indeed what of my cinnamon coffee journeys sir and ma'am.
Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Coffee sits well as a flavor in my opinion, and while I don't buy it as often as my Blueberry Muffin, Hazelnut, or French Vanilla go to it's a must have each season when the leaves tell me it's time.
How do I savor the flavor?
With Dunkin's Cinnamania there's a few different ways we can describe it overall with a palate roof.
1. You could easily compare it to a Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Bun or a Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Roll, and as such it goes excellent with glazed treats that offer similar spices and other cinnamon season items.
2. Cinnamania tastes very good when mixed with sweet profiles, or some nutty flavors. It does not do as well with creams like Hazelnut or French vanilla due to it's more spice focused flavor, though they don't necessarily make it bad to add in either.
3. Dunkin Donuts Cinnamon Coffee also goes well as a seasonal treat as I said, and I believe the aesthetic of the fall and early winter enhance the experience. It is not a coffee I find myself ever going to during the Summer and hardly ever in Spring.
My Final Rating for Dunkin's Cinnamania.
Overall I give Dunkin Donuts Cinnamania coffee a 6.5/10.
It does have a good cinnamon flavor and has a good flavor profile that matches breakfast treats within every sip, however as a coffee itself it's a little bit average and doesn't have a lot of unique punch when compared to other cinnamon flavored coffees.
It's a go to for me for the season but I rarely ever find myself drawn to it during my off season for this flavor of coffee, and I lean towards buying the Dunkin brand of cinnamon flavored coffee because of how much I enjoy Dunkin's other flavors.
While I wouldn't name a specific cinnamon coffee on the market that simply has it made as the top dog cinnamon flavor I also believe that's because it's hard to take a cinnamon flavored coffee and make it stand out as the unique king of the hill coffee for cinnamon.
Cinnamon is already a powerful staple flavor that defines itself, and adding other things in with it besides sweet find itself quickly falling behind or being numbed by the champion of taste bud senses that cinnamon tends to be.
